AHPE launches Webinars on Health Professions Education
The Medical Council of India has introduced a new competency-based curriculum in all the medical colleges of India from its new academic session in 2019. The Academy of Health Professions Education (AHPE) believes that one of its mandates is to support faculty with handholding during this phase of transition from traditional to competency-based education. The Continuing Professional Development (CPD) unit of the Academy of Health Professions Educators (AHPE) now offers free webinar lecture series for health professions educators. The webinars are being coordinated by Dr AM Ciraj, Coordinator and his team. Dr Sanjay Bedi has been providing technical support for hosting these activities. These lectures cover a broad range of contents related to health professions education (but not limited to) including curriculum design, teaching-learning, assessment and academic leadership.
